Breathwork

Breathwork that lets out what you’ve been carrying

You can’t think your way out of what you feel. Talking helps you understand it, but the emotion itself sits in your body. Breathwork gives your body a way to let it out.

Sound familiar?

You’ve been holding it together for a long time

Fine on the outside

You show up, get things done and look after everyone else. Underneath, something feels heavy and you can’t say what.

No off button

Your head keeps running the same loop at 2am. You want to relax without the worries of life sitting on your chest.

Something to get through the day

A drink to wind down, your phone in bed, a pill to sleep or to function. Anything so you don’t have to feel it.

Life forced a change

A loss you never really grieved, a marriage or relationship that ended, or a midlife moment where the old plan stopped making sense.

Everyone else first

People pleasing, overgiving, perfectionism. You feel obligated to everyone and have lost track of what you actually want.

Disconnected from yourself

Brain fog, tension nobody can explain, a body that never quite feels safe. You know you’re not living life on your own terms.

What I’ve learned

It isn’t a thinking problem

After guiding more than 1,000 people through breathwork and retreats, here is what I keep seeing: most of what people fight with, the overthinking, the bad sleep, the numbing, the restlessness, sits on top of emotions they pushed down a long time ago. Anger, grief, fear. Every loop in your head is fuelled by one of them. Let the emotion go and the thoughts lose their grip.

That’s also why sitting still and meditating so often goes nowhere for people like us. You’re asking an overthinking mind to quiet itself. With breathwork you don’t have to. After a few minutes of deeper, connected breathing, the thinking mind steps back and your body does the work.

And you don’t have to turn healing into your new identity, or quit your job and move to the jungle. Let out what you’ve been carrying, then go and live your life on your own terms.

Breathing for a specific goal

Not looking for a deep release?

Breathing is the one part of your nervous system you can steer on purpose. The right technique can sharpen you, calm you down or get you ready to train. I teach these as short, simple practices you can use every day.

Focus

For the days your head is full of fog and you need to think clearly.

Switching off

For the evenings you can’t come down from the day.

Before a workout

For more energy and drive when you train.

Sleep

For the nights you lie awake with your mind still running.

Send me a message with what you want help with, and I’ll tell you which technique fits and how we can work on it together.

Who I am

I’m Oliver Glozik

I was the guy with good grades who followed the traditional path, then went the entrepreneurial route, and eventually found my way to this work. I’m not a therapist. I figured out my own stuff, and I’ve since sat with more than 1,000 people while they went through theirs.

My group breathwork was featured on MTV’s The Surreal Life (Season 8: Villa of Secrets), and I built a retreat centre in the mountains outside Medellín, Colombia, where breathwork is part of every retreat. It also runs through my hypnosis and coaching work, where it helps the changes settle in the body.

What people say

After breathing with me

★★★★★
I’ve done breathwork at several high-end retreats, and Oliver’s session was the best by far. His technique goes deeper and is more powerful than anything I’d tried. It was intense, but I came out feeling incredibly clear and light. Whether you’re new to breathwork or experienced, he guides you through it masterfully.

I went to Oliver’s breathwork class and was so glad I did. Breathwork always sounded intimidating but once I arrived, the environment was so relaxing and comforting. It felt I was truly giving back to myself. Thank you Oliver!

The deep release work is not for everyone. If you are pregnant, have epilepsy, a heart condition, high blood pressure, glaucoma, have had recent surgery or have a history of psychosis or bipolar disorder, please talk to me or your doctor first. If you’re in crisis, contact your local emergency services.

Questions

I’ve never done breathwork. Is this for me?

Yes. You don’t need any experience. Everything is explained before you start, and if you can lie down and breathe, you can do this.

What will I feel?

It’s different for everyone. Some people cry, shake, laugh or feel a wave of anger or sadness. Others feel tingling, warmth or a deep quiet they haven’t felt in years. Whatever comes up is your body letting go of something it has been holding. There is no wrong way for it to look.

What if nothing happens?

That’s more common the first time than you’d think, especially if you’re used to keeping everything under control. Your body has to learn that it’s safe to let go. For many people the second or third session opens up much more.

What if it gets too intense?

You’re always in control. Slow down or breathe normally at any point and the intensity settles within a minute or two.

Is this therapy?

No. I’m not a therapist, and breathwork is not a replacement for medical or psychological care. If you’re in therapy it can be a good complement. Tell your therapist you’re doing it.

Is breathwork safe?

For most healthy adults, yes. The deep release work is intense, though, so don’t do it if you have a heart condition or high blood pressure, epilepsy, glaucoma or a detached retina, are pregnant, have had recent surgery, or have a history of psychosis or bipolar disorder. If you take medication for your heart, blood pressure, seizures or mental health, check with your doctor first.

How is this different from the breathing techniques for focus or sleep?

RELEASE is a long, deep session for letting out what you have been carrying, and you do it once a week at most. The techniques for focus, switching off, training or sleep are short and gentle, and you can use them every day.

What if RELEASE isn’t for me?

Do the session. If you don’t feel a real shift, email me within 30 days and I’ll refund you.

You’ve carried it long enough

You don’t have to talk about it or figure it out. You just have to lie down and breathe.
