How is the Ice Bath event structured? Ice bath Medellin
We organise transport from Parque de Poblado, Medellin to our Finca up in El Limonar in Copacabana which is about 1 hour away. Meetup time in Poblado is 9 am.
Once up at the Finca, we will have an official welcome round and a sharing circle to get to know each other. We continue with instructions for the upcoming breathwork and Ice bath. Then enough of talking and we switch to action.
After the Ice bath (3 people fit in at the same time) we have a light lunch, followed by a Yoga session on the deck with a great view of the mountains. To make the most out of the day together we continue with a holotropic breathwork session for emotional release. Then it is time to share the experience followed by dinner.
Then some people go back to Medellin after a day full of activities to be present while others decide to stay the night, share personal stories, life-hacks, and just enjoy our time together.
The next day after breakfast, there is transportation back to Medellin where you are fully centered ready to tackle the challenges of your life.
Breathwork and Ice Bath. A perfect combination!
- Breathwork is a very powerful spiritual practice and is a great component of Ice Immersion. Going into an Ice bath can be a mental and physical struggle. So the breathwork is a great preparation to get us into our body and enrich our body with oxygen before going into the Ice.
- During the one-day Ice bath seminar, we also implement a holotropic breathing exercise in the later afternoon. This helps you connect with your subconscious mind and release tensions and emotions that you have been suppressing. This is a very profound breathing exercise so you really get the most out of the day we share together.
The benefits of Ice baths
There are many different benefits to Ice baths. One aspect is the physical aspect. It helps you boost your immune system, reset your nervous system, and improve muscle recovery and soreness as well as sleeping.
With sleeping, we start to switch to the mental and emotional benefits as well. Because sleeping is also closely related to our state of being. When we experience anger, depression, frustration, disappointments, and worries, it is hard to sleep. And it affects our daily life in more ways than we would like.

What should I bring to the event
- We provide yoga mats and blankets, however, you can also bring your own as well

What is the ideal preparation for an Ice bath?
- We will do most of the preparation during the event, sharing instructions for the breathing exercise as well as giving mental support for the Ice bath. Do not have a huge breakfast, however, a normal one is totally fine as you will need energy for the day.
- Also, another aspect is that you can mentally prepare yourself to give your best during the day. And that does not mean you have to stay 10 minutes in the Ice bath. More than you come with an open, positive attitude ready to challenge yourself and step out of your comfort zone.
- Do not come to the event and complain that the water is cold :). I believe you understand what I am trying to share. Just come over, be present, enjoy the experience, push your limits and meet other like-minded people who are on that journey.
- Also, let us know if you have type 1 or 2 Diabetes, issues with your cardiovascular system, endocrine emphatic nervous, respiratory system, or if you have schizophrenic or other psychiatric conditions.
